Received my score sheets last week for a contest I didn't final in. Basically, it was the first three pages, the opening hook. And yes, Death Sword was the entry I sent in.
For not making the finals, I have to say my scores were pretty impressive. The comments were positive and helped bolster my confidence. And as any writer knows, confidence is a much needed quality in this field. This doesn't mean my book will be published, though. As I mentioned in the previous post, if it's not, I'll just have to deal with it.
But any positive experiences that come out of this story are more than welcome.
