Back in April, I joined the RWA Pros #50k writing challenge (deadline: July 28, start of the RWA national conference). This past Tuesday, I finished the first draft of Serpent Fire, the sequel to my upcoming short novel, Death Sword.
Altogether, I plan to have four books in what I call my Angels of Death series. The overall premise is "What if the Seraphim, the highest ranking archangels, viewing love as the ultimate weakness, decide they are superior to God and create a world of intolerance and fear?"
I also want to write another series about angels of death, the Memitim. Ironically, three of these angels, Gabriel, Xariel (Sariel), and Samael, are also characters in my Angels of Death series. The Memitim fascinate me because, according to www.hauntedamericatours.com/ghosts/SaintDeath.php they are "angels that brought about the destruction of those whom the guardian angels no longer protected."
Let the plot bunnies out of the cage!
